My 24 Volt 10 Amp SMPS failed recently. The nameplate did not have much details about the manufacturer, model number or product code. It was bought through Amazon at a relatively low price. This must be some Chinese made SMPS, imported by numerous local traders and sold as their own product. I could find any circuit diagram for this kind of SMPS anywhere in internet.
So, my work started for repair by looking for some more probable failures. Soon I could locate the faulty devices and place order for replacement. Although I could locate the fault quickly and waited for the spare parts to be delivered, out of curiosity I traced the entire circuit.
These type of power supplies are everywhere nowadays in large number mainly for LED and CCTV applications and all have more or less similar circuits. So I thought of sharing the diagram with you all.
Component values are not given for all as it becomes too laborious to find their values. It serves the purpose of trouble shooting and overall understanding. The circuit is based on TEA6932. The application notes and datasheets are good enough guide to understand and find typical values of many components. Hope this will be useful.
12v & 48V SMPS have similar circuits with components having different ratings and values.
